Hmmmm...not even one mention of Lamanites in the entire article, and this is SOUTH AMERICA!

I wonder if the South American LDS missionaries still tell their investigators they are Lamanites?

Argentina is far more white that you know. It's about 97 percent european immigrant. If you see someone who looks like a laminate they are likely from Bolivia, or Lebanon or someplace like that.

So no, not many laminates there.

Wasn't it reported that Nelson had referred to a congregation of members in Argentina as Lamanites. I know this was discussed on here recently.

“We were able to interact with over 60,000 members and missionaries … including almost every Area Seventy,” said Elder Christensen.

If the activity rate in these countries is anything like what I saw in Brazil, 60K might be ALL of the active members in the area. 1,600 wards and branches X average attendance of 50 (probably WAY too high) = 80K active members for the entire area. ~10% of the 60K were probably missionaries.

60,000 members in 1600 units (wards and branches) amounts to 37.5 members per unit. A "power" indeed.

Elders Nel SON, Christoffer SON, and Christian SEN, found all in order, they reported to Mon SON.

See, there is diversity in the hierarchy. Both SONs and SENs.

And is Nelson giving that guy in the picture the fourth token?

Hugo "Gassoni" is still alive! (I think he spelled his name Gazzoni.

Preaching to the Argentines to have more children is ridiculous. They can't afford to have more than one or two. The only families I remember who had 5 or 6 lived in miserias, or close-by.

Unfortunately, So. Americans are not white or delightsome and therefore, there is no way they are going to do much for the cult except in numbers only!
