They seem unable to make up their minds.

Catholics are the whore of the earth.Christians don't have the fullness of the Gospel. They are Gentiles and the bible is only true as far as it is translated 'correctly'.

By the way we're Christians.

Can't you see its in the name? Its the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints...

I'm just waiting for TSCC to come out and say that we are saved by grace and not by works. Then come out say they never taught that it was by works.

Sorry I was dreaming again, then woke up and snapped back to reality.

Oh yeah? Check out this one from the September 2013 issue of Ensign.

It almost had me fooled.

I don't think this was posted for Mormons.

"Grace Is Sufficient

The grace of Christ is sufficient (see Ether 12:27; D&C 17:8)—sufficient to cover our debt, sufficient to transform us, and sufficient to help us for as long as that transformation process takes. The Book of Mormon teaches us to rely solely on “the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah” (2 Nephi 2:8). As we do, we do not discover—as some Christians believe—that Christ requires nothing of us."

"As we do, we do not discover—as some Christians believe—that Christ requires nothing of us."

Are there other Christians who take this verse the way Mormons do?

Revelation disseminated in tweets by prophet, seer, and revelator Bednar. Fantastic. I hate that even his twitter profile maintains the sacred middle initial.

All religions will have to unite and band together eventually if they want a chance to survive the constant barrage from science and history.

That doesn't make me "respect" them any more than before -- the bible is a book of myths, too, just like the BoM :)

Yeah...stupid Christians. Since I'm brilliant and I was dumb enough to fall for Mormonism, the goddammit, everyone else is a dumbass, too.

But most Christians accept that certain parts are allegory rather than being history. No need for an Adam-Ondi-Ahman. The Jews still exist but the Lamanites are a fiction from beginning to end.
