I linked to the original DN story. But that's great that she's out. And, yeah, I kinda' doubt there'll be any follow-up story by the church on this one.
yah, this is a great story for LDS Inc, ..........as long as this dim bulb convert remains in the MORmON fold, and the raw odds on that are that she will not, because the retention rates for converts is less than 50 %. And although LDS Inc would love to tout this as a prime example of how "THE" church thrives in spite of opposition, even if she does stay in TSCC, in the larger picture its hardly any compensation for all the negative publicity /general inoculation against conversions that the Book of MORmON musical is generating in the general public.
It isn't a great story for the church, in fact it looks pretty damning. She posted on Twitter on Dec 21 2014 to a potential convert that she left the church. My original link goes to the Twitter conversation where she tells people she left. Her info is still up on mormon.org, but I suspect that is either a clerical oversight, or TSCC does not want the herd to see that they lost their Shining Example of the Lord's Work via the BoM Musical.
