I agree totally and in the US, the things you are talking about are covered by the Civil Rights Act.It is a bit different for churches since religious freedom is Constitutionally protected, which is fine if they keep it within their church.Clergy,dont marry gays if your church doesnt allow it,but dont force laws that forbid civil gay marriage or force other churches to abide by your beliefs.
