Bishop Rood drove his 1983 Mercury Cougar Boat car down the road scanning for possible obstacles like he had been taught years ago in drivers education when he saw two of those 'types' walking hand in hand with each other. He immediately pulled over and rolled down his window.
"I don't believe how blatantly you are persecuting me. I'm calling the cops right now. " he said, whipping out his cell phone and dialing 911.
"We are persecuting you. .." one of them started protesting.
"Shhhuusshhh!" Rood signaled them to silence "yes. I would like to report a hate crime. My beliefs are being violated. Yes officer...2 men are offending me..."
"I don't believe this. .." the guy protested again.
"Shhhuusshhh! No, not you officer, one was just trying to threaten my free speech rights too." Rood said.
"WHY YOU LITTLE.."
"I DON'T BELIEVE IT! THEY DID IT AGAIN! I'M FEELING THREATENED HERE! yes..at the corner of Walnut and Chestnut..oh looks like they are trying to get away. Should I follow them? NO? Well okay."
He pulled back into traffic, but before pulling too far off..
"Hey you losers! The cops are on the way. You won't get away with your hate crime today!"
A few minutes later he saw two 20 year old blond female swimsuit models walking done the road holding hands.
"Niiicccceeee." Then he rolled down his window again to whistle while slicing back his comb over.
