The thread closed before I got to comment. I was going to say that you might want to ask a doctor if you could be a candidate for taking Strattera. It's an ADD med but it acts more like an antidepressant. It's a non-stimulant so you don't get that post-medicine crash from it.
My 8 year old is on it. Since it's not a stimulant, we split his doses between evening and night. Unfortunately he has to take a stimulant too, but the two of them together work well.
It's the only drug of its type on the market now. And it doesn't have a generic yet, so it's kind of expensive. I know they're prescribing it for adult ADDs too, because a friend of mine was prescribed it.
