Ricky Ricardo's term on church letterhead

In a letter from John Dehlin's Stake President (the one who ex'ed him yesterday) dated August 7, 2014, point one refers to Dehlin's lack of faith in God and Jesus. The SP writes:


"You have taught the "the probability that God exists
is quite low" and the if God and Jesus really do exist you believe that they have a lot of 'splaining' to do.

I'm sorry but this produced a huge gigglefest on my part. Church leaders should really think twice before referring to I Love Lucy characters, even second hand, when writing such things in official documents.

Every discussion about god with mormons ends up with them defaulting to the classic, "It will all be worked out in heaven" statement.

Is that not the same as god "splaining"?

Luceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

I laughed too, that someone would monitor every word he said for the "GOTCHA!" Hmmmm, taking the Lord's name in vain? Check.

They are just sad Mormons on their way out won't be paying in to LDS Social Services/biased services, and the tithing has left the building. :(
