Happiness is the Sum of Obedience

...or so says the lds.org homepage and their new video that seems to have been posted earlier this week.

The article opens with this:

"The world changes constantly and dramatically, but God, His commandments, and promised blessings do not change. They are immutable and unchanging,” says Elder L. Tom Perry"

If there is a god, I'd agree...he probably doesn't change. However, the Mormon God, patterned after false prophets, changes constantly and dramatically. Perry has surely lived long enough to know that.

...about a girl's pornography "addiction". Seems like the first time they're not targeting the boys. I guess they need something to blame the apostasy of the young women on as well now. Did you hear little Suzy left the church?! She must be addicted to porn!

I hate this term - "promised blessings" with a violent passion.

It smacks me of superstitious nonsense promised to marks by hucksters.

So Perry, if "promised blessings" are "immutable and unchanging" you should be able to point them out to me with ease, right?
