I don't ever remember TSCC doing this (link)

pulling out a check and giving it to a secular organization like that. It just surprised me. PR spin seems to be in full swing.

They would call the paper and the TV stations, and maybe the cops, if they were about to drop a dime in a homeless, but gracious, man's hand.

It is really ridiculous, if not sacrilegious and in poor taste, to make such a large stink over such a small gesture.

That is one family's average tithing for the year... or about what a meal costs, at the next (q15) supper.
