“We should be careful not to be critical or judgmental of those with concerns — great or small. At the same time, those with concerns should do everything they can to build their own faith and testimony. Patiently and humbly studying, pondering, praying, living gospel principles and counseling with appropriate leaders are the best ways to resolve questions or concerns.”

So if I read that right, when one has doubts about an organization, the recommended way ahead is to put one's head down, do what you are told, and "counsel with" the people running that organization."

Many here on exmormon. org can attest that they have done that very thing, the the end result still being that they leave Mormonism.

Why doesn't the Mormon leadership LISTEN??

And confess, confess, confess so they have enough pretext to excommunicate you when you start talking back.

Yep. That about sums up how TSCC wants those with doubts to deal with them...stop thinking on your own and continue to pay, pray and obey.

Don't question, don't think for yourself and if it's not going well for you it's YOUR problem because you lack faith.

Hmm, doesn't this sound like Warren Jeff's mantra?

Same old, same old. Instead of having real answers to concerns and questions they just tell you what to do. #Shelving

What else can they do when the entire organization is built on a lie. They have to keep lying or the whole thing caves in.

However, they could do better by telling people their spouse isn't possed by satan because they don't want to give 10% to the cult.

If a doctor says you need to have your leg cut off, and you have doubts, just ask him again, "are you SURE?" And then proceed with the surgery.

If your bishop is trying to destroy you and your marriage, go straight to him and complain about it. That always works.
