They own a rehab/skilled nursing facility in the town I work in and have recently bought out a smaller for profit string of senior communities.

This smaller company operates several senior living communities in our area and have been in business for 50 years. They don't have a good reputation. I heard Ensign went in and fired everyone and then rehired people. When I first heard the news someone told me "the Mormons" bought the company out.

Has anyone had any dealings with this group?

I don't have personal knowledge about Ensign Advisors, but I would sure like to know about their REAL function in the Church. I'd be willing to bet all is not "above board".

Huge business now, retirement/extended care facilities.

I wondered how long it would take LDS INC. to continue fleecing more sheep. If they don't have vigilant family members, many seniors are overbilled and taken advantage of.

I have zero knowledge about them.

However, knowing the mormon church, it wouldn't surprise me if they were hitting up old folks to sign over their estates to the church.

I read information put out by the mormon church, and have to wonder just who they've fleeced in their last moments on earth.

...here you go. Their reputation for "quality health care" is suspect.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for It will be interesting to see how their transition and taking over the other company will go. The company that just got bought doesn't have a very good reputation. I wonder if there will be any significant changes.

Here's a link to an existing facility they own. No mention of Ensign Peak or Deseret on their website.
