If some of the "Presidents" weren't "Prophets"...

...what did testimonies sound like? Today "I know Thomas S Monson is a prophet" is part of the sales patter. But what did Mormons in the 1910s and 20s say when the president wasn't acknowledged as a prophet?

you are asking a question about how MORmONS might have applied reason to their situation of being MORmONS when a key personality facilitator to being a MORmON is personally lacking the ability to really reason.

The salt lake valley was the garden of eden OR the more desolate than the Sahara desert, depending on what MORmON purpose needed to be served in that exact moment.
