Corporate sponsorship of Stadium of Fire July 4th in Provo

Overstock.com is sponsoring the Stadium of Fire this year as far as their commercials indicate.

I do not remember Corporate Sponsorship to this degree in the past.

Did the LDS church foot the bill for this event in the past? If so, I wonder why they are getting companies to pay now. I know the CEO of Overstock.com is LDS, but still. I wonder if he is now paid up for life on his tithing.
