Our friend George would have been 75 today.

We miss him so much..............at our N. Orange County CA monthly coffee group.

He was our historian and genealogy guy.
He had stories to tell........
We called him our patriarch, elder and chief..........even husband of many. :)

RIP our friend
Happy Birthday

I never met George personally, but a few years ago that he and I determined (here on the RfM board) that we were probably in the same ward (or at least attended church in the same building, although at different times) in the Brea/La Habra area. I was saddened to hear when it was announced a while ago that he had passed away. I live in a different state now, but I feel I still have some connection to George and to the North Orange County exmo group. Wish I were still living in your area.

R.I.P. George and Happy Birthday! I'm glad to have briefly known you and that you made such a difference ...

I did not know him but we exchanged a few emails back in 2011.

He was very nice and gave me some info on the LeBaron brothers. He knew all of them.

My "father" knew Ervil and Joel and I contacted George asking some questions about them.

When did George pass away?

I would have loved to have met him in person and listen to his stories.

Several of us from the N. Orange County exmo group went to his "Celebration of Life".

It was a perfect tribute to George.............planned & conducted by his son.....definitely not a mormon funeral and not in a mormon chapel.

George was a friend for about 3 years............although I felt like he was always my friend and like family.

Thank You, Lurking in for linking George's posts here.

As I was reading them this really jumped out at me.

George posted this regarding a poster's Grandfather's passing:

"The Navajos say it best after a well lived life, "In beauty it is finished."

I luv that quote......and George's life was well lived in beauty and so it is finished..................
