It's scary. It's almost like the Jehovah's witnesses and the Mormon church and Scientology and the Munies all got ahold of Hassan's playbook and adapted it to their doctrine as best they could.

I like Hassan's model because it allows for a wide range of experiences. The Mormon mission fits perfectly. Yes, it is a cult.

It wouldn't surprise me if mormons top dogs read the book and uses it to further their work of mormonism.

Any person or organization that attempts to implement them should be viewed with skepticism and alarm!

Is it me or do cults have a megalomaniacal bent to them? Don't mormons believe that they will take over the government and then the world? Much like Scientology. It seems that these various groups do think they will rule over everyone eventually.
