I got married at 33... 28 years ago.
We're still going strong.

The rocks in his head match up
with the holes in my head, I guess.

I got married at 34 to my husband (41 years old). I'm 67 now and he's going on 74--still wildly happy together after all these years!

It may be, that in Utah, things are skewed. People get paired up pretty young there. And those who don't get paired up until later might not be as good a marriage candidate. I wonder how large the sample pool of data came from.

That's true about Utah, people tend to get married younger than people outside of the culture. They also seem to have short dating periods before another quick engagement, often to someone they haven't really gotten to know because for women especially, the most important thing in a partner is that he's a RM who served the full mission.

went through the temple, bagged myself an RM. We were both on "subsequent" marriages. We were in our 40's.

I left the church, he is inactive, and we are going on 24 years.

Must have done something right! Still very much in love.
