Vitus Huonder, the controversial Catholic bishop of Chur in eastern Switzerland, has once again attracted criticism for quoting homophobic Bible passages and denouncing non-traditional family models…

In his 50-minute address on Friday, titled “Marriage – a gift, sacrament and order”, Huonder quoted various passages backing up his views. He also slammed gender theory, divorce, sex education and gay marriage.

Regarding homosexuality, the 73-year-old bishop quoted two verses from the book of Leviticus, including Leviticus 20:13: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

In response to applause, he continued: “Both of these passages alone suffice to clarify unambiguously the church’s position on homosexuality”.

In his opinion, the passages also had implications for the definition of marriage and the family. “There is no diversity when it comes to marriage and family models, although a book has just come out in my bishopric called ‘Family Diversity’,” he said.

“Even speaking of family diversity is an attack on the Creator.”

Creation theory is an abomination.

If I were a truly just and loving Father-God, I'd be mortified about the way my children blamed all their hatred on me.

So while he's ranting about Leviticus saying we should kill gay men (notice it doesn't mention women), he's wearing his mixed-fabric priest robes, and digesting his cheeseburger lunch.

Oops.

Not just that, but he's probably a fan of pork products as well since he might have had a bacon cheeseburger.

Actually, Not remotely close to even.

The Catholic church (the second coming of the Roman Empire) has done a lot of killing through the centuries, killing done based on the theme of conform or die. Joe Smith was very well in touch with that theme as he wrote the Book of MORmON. There is little tolerance for Laban's dissent. That nasty Masonic lodge throat slashing thing that people get so upset at the Masonic lodge about, just as people SHOULD get upset at such threats on their life, is actually an ode to the brutality of Formal Traditional Christianity which is Catholicism, because the truth (about how EVIL and contrived that Christianity really is ) will set you / any person free ( which religion does NOT like) and it would also get a person killed if they blabbered off their mouth about it too much.

George Washington was a member of the Masonic lodge. NONE of the founding fathers were Catholic. The United States was set up as a nation based on the ideals of the Masonic lodge = freedom of religion and freedom from religion if a person was bright enough to free themselves. The USA was NOT set up as a Christian nation (which would be a Catholic nation), it just ended up mainly Christian because its citizens could not do any better. Because the U.S. is a Masonic lodge ideals based nation it has freedom of choice with regard to religion and belief, as Formal Traditional Christianity (Catholicism) has no such tolerance, (just as this bishop so fully alludes to ).

Catholicism's original creed, just like that of gosh darn wonderful Islam, is for people to submit to joining and conforming, or to submit to death. The original creed of the Masonic lodge, that the Masonic lodge will not currently openly own up to, was NOT advocating worship of Satan as is so often so errantly claimed by Christians, it was that formalized religion namely Christianity/ Catholicism is utter folly AND instead of just Killing people to emphasis the point which would make the lodge just like the Catholicism that the lodge opposed, The Lodge was all about spending some time to try to educate those capable of grasping that ultimate truth on the matter to do better, which the Catholic church so readily labels as Satan worship, because after all WHO could not get along with out absolutely indispensable Formal Traditional Christianity (Catholicism) with its exclusive saving priesthood authority (does that theme sound familiar to any former LDS?).

A lot of killing would have to be done in order for things to be evened up with Catholicism / Christianity.

Quoting the Bible an'
Cherry Pickin' go hand in hand,
Oh, life is a bowl of cherries
And oh, so grand!

Don't care for the wording here?
Well, just switch to there -
No one seems to give a mind
No one seems to care.

'Tis the same in that other
That Book of Mormon book -
People choose whatever
When they decide to look.

A buck says he's so deep in the closet, he's found his junior high sneakers.

Ranters like this always have an agenda. No way this guy is making Archbishop or Cardinal
or whatever the next promotion is in the holy Roman legion, so what's his real beef I wonder?
