Did you see your earlier thread? Several have made contributions...
http://exmormon.org/phorum/read.php?2,1646517,1646861#msg-1646861Fawn Brodie rejected the Spaulding Hypothesis (I think this is the "right" word, but only barely since I am moving toward the Spaulding camp at this point). Certainly her stature as a historian is not to be taken lightly. I first read her book in 1970 or thereabouts, when I was a precocious AP English student, and I recognized that there were powerful arguments for the Joseph-Smith-as-Author claim; notably, the "resemblance" between the major protagonists in the BOM and Joseph Smith. Craig's synthesis seems to take these factors into account; I don't think anyone is doubting that JS made major contributions to the BOM, but the presence of the strong evidence indicting others such as Sidney Rigdon, Oliver Cowdery, and Orson Pratt does call for serious consideration.
Here's the YouTube link to the first of Craig's presentations again.
