"And now, if there are faults they are the mistakes of men;"
https://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/bofm-titleThe Book of Mormon tells you it has faults in a round about way. The question is how many faults do you believe are in it?
Like all things apologetically Mormon, the logic of "if" allows for the zero mistakes hypothesis. If you don't believe there are zero "mistakes of men" in the text how many does it take to make it less likely a text of truth and more likely a text of "mistakes" up to and including the little fleckish historical gaff of fraud?
Regardless of whether you are Pro or Con The Book of Mormon, Mormon or Non, the truth of The Book of Mormon at least has the possibility of containing mistakes of truth. That one all can agree upon. And that is something like hope. The glimmer of hope that truth will prevail in regards to The Book of Mormon.
