These two were discovered by an archaeologist, Everett Bassett, and the original story broke in Arkansas and was discussed in this thread. Unfortunately, the original article linked in this thread is now behind a paywall.

The skeletons uncovered earlier and subjected to a forensic examinaiton by Shannon Novak--until Utah governor Mike Leavitt, a descendant of an MMM participant, ordered the remains reburied in probable violation of state law--consisted of the remains of 28 victims, mostly women and children.
