We used to sing that hymn all the time before the 3-hour block schedule when we'd meet separately for Sunday School. We'd always sing the song with a nice brisk clip. It took a bit of energy, but the audience would get into it, especially if the chorister and organist were in sink.

Well, the closed the Sunday Morning with "The Spirit of God" which is basically the Mormon's "Freebird"!

But they were singing that as well without any energy! It was absolutely pathetic!
