As if the saints don't have enough lions and tigers and bears to worry about, now they have a doddering derelict divine dictator who can no longer dictate.
Sorry deco, it's on my DVR. If Monson's talk had been 30 seconds longer, he would have collapsed. His speech became so slurred at the end. He was leaning down on the pulpit. He sank so low that the microphone was up to the middle of his nose (as viewed by the broadcast camera taking the frontal face/pulpit shot).
I just watched him on the LDS website. He starts speaking about halfway through the video. He starts out upright and fine but starts to falter after about 10 min or so. By the end he is leaning on the podium and his mouth is hidden by the mike. He is slurring his words and is very close to the mike just trying to stay standing. Doesn't look like a stroke or anything, just that he tired out very quickly. His endurance is very low.
He's just old and tired and looks it. He's lost weight since the last time I saw him on TV. They cut away from him to a long view of the stage the second he said amen and 3 or so guys rushed up to him.

Do you think it's just fatigue from old age, or does he have congestive heart failure? It looked to me like he was fighting to get enough air.
