Except that I don't care what other people think, although they probably assume I do, because of how well I feign interest in what they're saying.

I'm sorry. That was silly of me to post. I know other people feel this way too. I'm just not thinking clearly.

Such values are NOT xtian (just ssmple Bona Dea and other Christians on this board). It is valued by both the non-theists and theists alike. No offense but I have known asshole atheists, and asshole christians... behavior is observable and measurable... neither camp has any claim to kindness and humility.

p.s. that is NOT to say that humility or passivity is something that I, personally, value.

I know. I realized that was stupid to post because it sounded self aggrandizing and was not described the way I meant for it to sound, nor do I think other people don't share these qualities. I don't know what I was thinking.

I think I'm an atheist by default myself, Savoir's Elf. It's not that I really want to be categorized, but I just can't believe.

The way I see it is that every time someone describes God to me, there seems to be some equivocating and haziness in the description. God is too big to see, but you can feel his presence, he lives on yonder planet, etc.

I don't believe in aliens flying UFOs in our skies, either. Palm reading, spirit mediums, etc. God is just part of a list to me.
