What would the LDS have done

With what I have observed with regards to the way Mormons act both in Utah and outside Utah I wondered what kind of prison sentence Jared of Subway fame would have gotten if he was a Mormon.

He had money. He had fame. What he did was and is reprehensible. And he should be in prison. But I can't help to think that had he been a Mormon he would have maybe been sentenced to one to two years in prison with a little probation.

For sure he'd have been disfellowshipped for at least a year!!!!
