I sat in on the sunbeam class yesterday as a sub, and this was the lesson. Much emphasis was placed on showing a picture of a baby being blessed, and they had all been blessed as a baby, therefore they all "belong." At the end all the 3 year olds drew a picture of themselves being baptized.

Sick fuckers. I hate that church, of which I now no longer belong... Yay Yay Yay.
maybe they can draw a picture of a child being denied and ostracized--baptized by his own tears
I'm sure there were no teacher instructions on how to comfort the child who wasn't allowed to be blessed, and won't be allowed to be baptized either.
I am very interested in how members of the church draw gays...

I also wonder which ones of those adorable children will turn out to be gay, or have a gay loved one. It is inevitable.

It's revolting to see that the teachings are such that a three year old is assured they belong, unless their mommy or daddy (or both) are gay.
No child of such a union will be allowed to be blessed going forward, or baptized. So I wonder whether that teaching manual will be modified to reflect the policy change for future use?
A three year old otherwise of a gay parent, and there well may have been some getting that lesson yesterday will now go home and cry to their parents that they aren't good enough somehow to be baptized, and why doesn't Jesus love them as much as he does the other children?
