Well, many thanks for rejoicing with me when second son returned to his wife and two year old after 5 months away with his uncle Sam. He spent a total of three weeks at home (it has been five weeks since his return, but he had to be away for two weeks of training).

Given the whole Libya thing he was called back into direct service and will be directing air operations from Germany.

We are all pretty bummed. So, nobody go political on me here, just join me and thousands of other families squaring their shoulders and brushing off tears in saying, "well, shit!"

Second DIL has a major confenrence she is running during a weekend in April. Drdad and I will be traveling down our favorite highway, the Jersey turnpike, to watch the little guy while his mom works that weekend.

...Germany sounds pretty safe. :-)

Hang in there, msmom. And thanks to your DS for serving.
