The original trilogy was very black and white. The new film - by design - is all murky gray areas. Its the times I suppose and it does make for more interesting drama. Still, I'm old school and miss the black and white days.
After all these movies, you'd think that the writers would think out of the box. Instead we get a new generation of Han and Leia's kids , possibly Luke. They "dumbed" down the Rebellion to "The Resistance" and the Empire is now "The First Order". How about making a new trilogy that has another group or faction that threatens both of them??
I love the Star Wars movies, it's just time for the writers and Disney to think out of the box. The Empire and it's Death Stars are a been there, done that already.

It is a movie review,not a moral condemnation of the movie. The reviewer didnt like it. So what? Catholics are not forbidden to see the movie.It is a review of a movie and nothing more.
