Turkey has been et....and now basking in the glow of 3 fingers of Appleton's VX dark rum & diet Coke...round two. Got my grandchildren here and we're having a wonderful time. Hope y'all are too.

Dinner's almost done, as my family tends to have holiday dinners in the evening. Already have a bottle of merlot open, and plan to enjoy that with the meal.

Just got home from taking the family to see Star Wars. We are all full of popcorn and topping things off with some Key Lime pie.

Life is good.

I was going to take a segway tour of Olvera St. but the segway bus broke down. So now I'm just sitting here in a McDonalds at 8th and Alameda, watching the homeless people be homeless.

I'm anticipating a great Boxing Day, of course.

And then, I get to look forward to Russian Orthodox Christmas in January.

I truly hope I don't live to see another one. I've had enough.

Northeastern Alabama is flooding. We had six inches of water in our basement (first time ever) and we've spent the evening sucking and pumping. Merry Bleeping Christmas!

Got some issues with drugs going on here. BP was too low last night, so now I've got to talk to the doctor again about the med she has me on on top of my shingles meds. I've about had it. I was "working," but there were only 2 reports I had to do and I could barely stay awake and could barely sit here because I was in so much pain. I went and laid down and my boyfriend took my bp, which was really low compared to what it had been.

So I slept. Now I've been up since 2.

But I really had a great Christmas season, one of the best in my memory.
