Big thank you to everyone. You've really saved my future.

I've really been struggling with my loss of faith. It's really aggravated my depression, but I've realized recently that I've been saved from a life of misery in the Church. I haven't been through the Temple and never will.

I just feel really free now and it's all because of this community. The whole world is open now. I haven't felt this happy in years. I don't know why it took me so long.

The world is a much bigger oyster than the church ever was.

Enjoy. Here you will find comradery and a plethora of information and resources for the ex-Mormon community.

If we learned one thing it's to keep our eyes wide open, and not take anything for granted.

That is what I felt...the whole world is open to me now...no guilt, no fear that Sky Daddy was gunning for me, no Satan to tempt me. I was/am 100% responsible for what I think, feel and do...I am free

It took as long as you needed it to, there is no time table for the freedom of owning yourself. Happy for you

I'm glad you got to that point. It takes time, but you can reach the point where it just feels wonderful to belong to the rest of the world, instead of being isolated in one little group. It feels like joining humanity again.
