Why are they not using their holy priesthood power to part the fog from Salt Lake and Utah counties? I mean they have to breathe too.

BY stopped at the Wrong location!

the plan was to go to (what is now) NV so he could profit from gambling.

He was feeling frisky, and didn't want to have nookie in his wagon, so they stopped at SLC, which is in a pollution bowl now.

GAs are Powerless to deal with the industries that produce pollution, b/c Utah is a 'Free Enterprise' zone.

So is anybody ready to admit that Happy Valley is breaking the WoW?

"Experts have said red air days are like smoking a half pack of cigarettes."

I'm living the word of wisdom better than much of my family and I have occasional drinks of no no hard liquor.

Maybe they live above the inversion. They act like they're above everything else.

Their church is an inversion that places it over everything else.

It was even worse in the late 19th and early 20th century when everyone was burning coal and there was a black cloud over the whole city.

I'll take the occasional feed lot/meat processing waft in Greeley, CO over winter's inversion air in the Salt Lake Valley!

They are polluting the air (with hot air)- it is we who are here to clear the air.

Too bad "the one true church" didn't have anything in its supposedly pure and complete gospel about protecting the environment of the world you live in. Utah never was good about caring for things like this.

I wondered why they were dumb enough to plan their holy temple openhouse, with its so many million and their vehicles during the inversion season. I could have told them the air would be dangerous and a risk to the health and lives of the locals. Especially dumb if they aren't going to ask their God to fix it. Of course, I am sure there is some special blessing promised for visitors who also wear holy underwear to protect them from the bad air.

Instead of worrying about tattoos, iced tea, and gay marriage, why aren't they worried about income inequality and global warming? Why are they stuck on these trivialities that don't help anyone, when real problems plague the world?

Instead to telling people to store grain under their beds, why don't they tell them to walk more, take more public transit, and drive more fuel efficient cars? Why don't they announce support for solar energy and an end to the destruction of God's creation?

I think this article sums up the Mormon attitude towards the environment pretty well

I'll take the seriously strong winds any day over SLC's crap. I remember when we used to have to drive up to the ski resorts (we don't ski] just to breathe.
Living in a filthy EVIL CULT bowl of sewage. SO HAPPY I MOVED AWAY FROM UTARD.

It's a test of the faith of the people of Zion and clearing you are failing, TBM's. Better shape up, pay up and read the scriptures more because the inversion is just a warning.

Are you kidding me? I bet they don't show up to help clean the chapel. Why would they clean the air of the entire valley?
