I'm sure parents tell their children this because they look on their little ones as food storage.

Fleecing the sheep is what some churches have done with their members, as have despots, political regimes, or governments needing war funding. But the depiction of Aliens involves a mass projection: we fear what "they" will do to us because we know what we have done to each other. That is also why people fear the sky-projection they call "God."

Never, ever desire to be sheep. Yes, you get fleeced and slaughtered. Besides that, lonely shepherds with rubber boots--CENSORED FOR FAMILY VIEWERS--and don't even call you the next day.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd (the real Jesus... Not the MO Jesus). Tithing/fleecing is not required.
