I too mourn the death of Dan Hicks, csuprovograd

Saw him many times in Del Mar in the 70's. Plastic pink flamingos on stage, super flashy outfits. Great fiddle players. Left me forever humming "How can I miss you if you won't go away?"

Toward the end of the 80's he seemed to be battling something. In the 90's he was back to his talented self and could hold a stage solo. I wish I'd seen him more.

That's too bad. I remember that song you shared here.

Dan Hicks suffered from liver and throat cancer, according to sources.

Another one that wasn't with us all too long. May he R.I.P., and his family comforted.
