Somewhere there was a post with a link where the online mish system was described. First they use first name, then Elder First Name, Last Name, then Elder Last Name.

I assume the intention is they are attempting to appear more friendly before bringing on the "Elder X" bullshit. Only the morg would call pimply callow youth "elder". In Christian churches "elders" are really elder.
