Confession of a young mormon

So I have to admit. When I first when through the temple, I was so depressed, and my then husband was so excited about temples, and he wanted to go back. Why---

So I played right, and would experience with different over the counter medication. How long really does it take for tylenol Pm to work and I would always ask for headphones to listen to the ceremony in a different language.


I went to regularly until they stopped me doing this, and then I gave up.


When I think back of how they got me to that, there is usually some way I was not really buying into what they were telling me. I just did what I had to, and tried my best to entertain myself along the way.

I went out this past weekend to comedy and everyone was telling stories about college and I didn't say anything because my college substance experimentation was so strange.

Any way- The temple is weird.

Wow, that would be a trip! Take a bunch of meds then go thru the temple..in a foreign language!

Confession.. Sometimes, when I was sitting in on a PH blessing, like a setting apart, I would (in my head) finish each sentence that the PH holder would say. It would go something like this..

PH: and I say unto you Sister diddlypop..
ME: that the blessings of the lard will be poured out upon you..
PH: that as you pray and study your scriptures daily..
ME: darn not even close

PH: I also bless you sister diddlypop that..
ME: you will always have the spirit to guide you as you oerform the duties of your sacred calling..
PH: that the guidance of the holy ghost will always be...
ME: ooh close

PH: and I say unto you that your family..
ME: will be blessed for the sacrifices that you faithfully make
PH: will receive blessings from heaven as you sacrifice..
ME: ha to easy.. I could do this...
