METAPHORICALLY SPEAKING.....

I have been to Hell. It's not a nice place. It's lonely and really uncomfortable and there's prescious little freedom there.

I have also been to Heaven, but not often and not lately, unless you count the time I spend in Yoga.

Heaven and Hell exist only as a state of being...meaning the state of a human being. So, we are always either in Heaven or Hell. When we're dead, we're in neither. And this is only what "I" believe, this day in March, 2011 at 2:15 PM.

I'll be in Heaven at the end of April. (Napa Valley Vacation)

I've been to hell and it's talking through a bullet proof glass, on the phone, with my son who's in jail.

I've not been to Heaven.... I've nothing against gay clubs, but the *music* would be a bit young for me.

I've not been to Hell, Either..... But I have been to Hull and there doesn't seem to be much difference

I was going to say Newcastle or Kings Lynn would be hell.

Heaven would be The lake district or the highlands with hot tea and hot scones. For me anyway. :-)

I've been to hell and back both physically and mentally. Newcastle definitely represents the mental hell I've been to. ;-)

What kind of God would keep souls around for eternity just to have them tortured. If he didn't like what they did, the sensible thing to do would be just give them one little "poof" and be done with them.

The whole idea of HELL had to be thought up by someone who badly needed to control a whole bunch of gullible folks.

It's a great Black Sabbath album. Other than that, I don't think about it much 'cause neither is real.

I guess I just don't like to ascribe religious designations to my life. I prefer to think of good times, and bad times. The swing of the pendulum through life. I continue to move away from religion and it's influence on my life. It helps me to think critically instead of emotionally.
