Sorry Dave but My God is not nailed to a cross or even needs a hammer. My God is the Eternal Heavy Weight Champion kick all other god's butt for all time and space including everything.

My god really does exists and all other gods are false myths. Worship the one and only true god - My God.

Yup, you have to hand it to the Greeks. Myth-makers extraordinaire. They laid down the whole myth ethos and invented languages and philosophical structures specifically engineered for myth creation. That grew into the modern world, and here we are. So, it turns out the Spartans weren't the only ones who took it up the tookus.

I always how things got so far out of whack. Humans should have learned to get along by now, but they just had to invent God. I might have to stop eating Greek yogurt.

The reason why God tolerates religion is to give all Mankind spiritual experiences needed for our spiritual growth. To help us figure it out on our own. Using different vehicles to get there. Of course that's all just opinion based upon my personal experiences.

And yes, God even tolerates the Mormon Church. Don't ask me why. I have no clue why.
