And in that department "church" fails more than most organizations. How about an update to the "most true church" upon the earth God? You are the one with a prophet, seer, and revelator better at collecting tithing and building malls and housing developments than updating your organization.
The more meetings you have, the more church jobs there are to be done that obligate people to show up to do their job. To me, it's a tactic to keep people attending.
