I propose adding just one word to the CHI in the spirit of "more transparency" that The Brethren are currently employing with their "Church Essays" project.

The word is "BIAS" as highlighted in this new paragraph:

Baptism and confirmation BIAS* are administered to persons at least eight years old (the age of accountability). The ordinance corresponds to the confirmation BIAS rite in many other Christian faiths. Confirmation BIAS's were first performed on April 6, 1830 at the organizational meeting of the Church of Christ.

This "speechul" gift of the spirit will ensure "kevlar" like protection from any challenges to foundational doctrines, beliefs and history of The LDS Church.

* Confirmation bias, also called confirmatory bias or myside bias, is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's beliefs or hypotheses, while giving disproportionately less consideration to alternative possibilities i.e. Joseph Smith was a fraud and the church he founded is false.

You know its been 6 years since the most recent and current handbooks were released. One has to wonder if they will print a new edition soon. With all of TSCC's new policy attached in the foreground.
