Has anyone heard of "Mormon Transhumanism"??? per New Yorker?

I've never heard of this group. Sounds kinda like a Mormonized Luminarias. http://www.newyorker.com/tech/elements/mormon-transhumanism-and-the-immortality-upgrade

Lots of food for thought in that article.

With the scientific advances coming, who knows what could happen. Seems living forever would get boring after awhile, though.
