This is a "hypothetical" quote that Bednar could've asked Holland sometime in the upper chambers of the SLC temple during one of their Thursday night meet 'n greets.

Might YOU have any other creative hypothetical quotes that could've happened over the last 186-years of this SCAM a.k.a LDS-Inc that were bandied about between so-called church authorities???

Or so it seems to me...

Early in the history of the church in Utah, I bet they often flipped coins over the new 'fluffy stuff' that had just come in with the latest wagon train.

I bet the Danish girls made a big impression...

I was thinking the *exact same thing*!

(Great minds thinking alike, no doubt...)

The funny part to me is that TBM's say "...took the plates back to Heaven..."

Took the plates *back*?? WHY!? They were on Earth from the time they were hammered out to be written on! They didn't need to go *back*!

Well, actually, I guess they did go back: back to JS' head where he pulled them out of his vivid imagination...

"I guess they did go back: back to JS' head where he pulled them out of his vivid imagination..."

Interesting choice of wording. I went through my first colonoscopy several years ago and never once did they refer to that end of my anatomy as my "vivid imagination."

How can you take back what you never had?

Mr. Bednar would be well advised not to say such a thing--even hypothetically.

The kinderhook plates, and the Breathing Permit of Horus didn't do their cause any favors.

But having the plates would have helped prove the fraud - like having the "Book of Abraham". Not only that, but JS would have melted them for the gold.

The biggest joke of all is the fact that Mormon and Nephi stated many times how difficult it was to record their history on the plates and were even commanded to produce a second set to replace the lost 116 pages.

The church has only recently admitted in an essay that Joseph didn't even need or use the plates to produce the BoM! It was all done with a chocolate colored stone buried in his hat. Super WTF!

"Super WTF"

Oh, please, please, someone adopt that as a screen name! :-)
