I suppose some mormons might reply that you can also get "frequent ejaculation" by having numerous wives...

now if we guys could only document the benefit(s) of this to our gfs/S.O.s/spouses....

I'm afraid that once our value as 'sperm donors' has gone, many independent & feminist women don't appreciate our value/presence in their lives.

any ideas on this?

"any ideas on this?"
Ya feminists may very well bring the end of humanity as we know it. They push push push for equal pay, equal treatment at work and where will it go? What would happen if women were treated like men? Most would lose their jobs (because they miss a lot of work when kids get sick). Their wouldn't be any maternity leave (for those privileged to work in white collar work). They'd have to sign up for the selective service and risk getting their A** shot at if we have another Vietnam.

Is feminism good? It's good for men.

This is good to know because previous to this the hours between coffee and wine had no purpose.

So I guess it now goes morning coffee, afternoon taffy pulling and evening wine.

Science, making the world a healthier place.

Someone needs to think of the missionaries!!!

A billboard with this message should be put up across from the MTC.

Coincidentally I just took a questionnaire on my "real age".

According to them for every 100 male orgasms per year you have, you reduce your physiological age by 1 year.

Not sure exactly, but by this method when I was 16 I was approximately -3! I jerked myself all the way into negative integers!

(Nothing was safe in those day: throw pillows, neighborhood pets...)

Does the Harvard article specify whether ejaculation through intercourse or masturbation, or either?

Because the Web doctor indicates that masturbation and intercourse respond differently to ejaculation.

1. Masturbation doesn't have the health benefits that sex does.

It appears that not all orgasms are created equally," says Tobias S. Köhler, MD, MPH, an associate professor at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.

Study after study shows that intercourse has all sorts of benefits for men -- for your blood pressure, heart and prostate health, pain, and more. You'd think that masturbation would, too. But it doesn't.

Why would it make a difference whether you ejaculate during sex or on your own? No one's sure. But your body seems to respond differently. Even the makeup of semen is different if you masturbate instead of having sex.

Still, does it really matter? Have you honestly been masturbating all these years only because you wanted to boost your prostate health? Didn't think so.

2. Masturbation is not risk-free.
Sure, it's low-risk. It's the safest form of sex possible. No one ever caught an STD from himself or made himself pregnant. But like other low-risk activities (chewing, walking), it still has some risks.

Frequent or rough masturbation can cause minor skin irritation. Forcefully bending an erect penis can rupture the chambers that fill with blood, a rare but gruesome condition called penile fracture.

Köhler has seen guys with it after vigorous masturbation. "Afterward, the penis looks like an eggplant," he says. "It's purple and swollen." Most men need surgery to repair it.

Some other things that are also important to keep in mind:

Masturbating with scissors, a sword or a rasp can lead to injury.

Using fire as a lubricant can cause irreparable damage.

An irrational fear of "mutual masturbation" has been shown to lead to silly delusions about brown people losing their skin color and that somehow being a good thing.

So fine. I'll ask the obvious, now that we have the numbers and can do the math.

Have any of the Q, down through time, ever had prostate cancer? Statistically speaking, 33% of an abstaining population...

My previous Stake President claimed he didn't engage in the big M. In fact, he went after the male youth in a big way.

Guess what, he got his Second Anointing and prostate cancer!
