Good brought out of Mormonism (continued)

Just typed out this whole thing out and the thread was closed, so starting another.

For me:
Definitely public speaking and some good solid values such as honesty and kindness, although I think I was born with a kind and gentle heart, so who knows.

There are probably some homemaking skills, cooking, sewing and the like.

I think the whole "I Am a Child of God" thing instilled in me a sense of worth that I wasn't getting elsewhere. The realization that I had worth as an individual actually saved me from the church and the abuses of those in it. Nice little turn of events there. ;o)
