There ought to be a Hippocratic-type Oath for Religion and Churches.

Hmmm. First, do no harm.

Second, tell no lies.

If you make those two "imperatives," all religions disappear.
How about that :)

If they made it a "Hypocritical Oath" it would put religion out of business.

Good idea!

Also...

Maybe fine print should be required with their publications to explain that it is opinion only and not factual.

Maybe with their proselytizing, it should be required to list all the warnings and side effects that could occur if you try their product.

Like investments, they should have to show the actual incurred expenses incurred in real dollars.

At least hold them accountable for product claims not delivered like any other business that gets investigated for fraud when they make untrue claims.

They should have to prove that "GOD" actually endorsed any claim that they attribute to being approved by God (and no, the Bible doesn't do this).
