Don, I really hope the first one is fiction because if not, it's truly disturbing.

The second story is much easier to digest.

So readers, what are your reactions?

No time this morning, I'm working an early shift but I've bookmarked it to read later and for the rest of the day I will have "Time & Eternity in Don Bagley's Shorts" stuck in my head.

My interpretation:

All faithful, priesthood obedient husbands are in cahoots with the bishop to put an end to women in the church. Maybe not a physical end, as in this story, but definitely an end to that spirit of fulfillment we seek. They want to "finish" us.

Yes, it's metaphorical.

Sad, but insightful commentary.

Yeah, I thought there was something Don had forgotten to tell me.

Oh man!!! It was interesting, after I'd left the house for good, hearing about the goings on. It got worse. I can relate to the crazy stories and wondering if they really happened or not. Because they sure could have.

"I had more excuses than I had balls." Nice.

Keep writing, Don :-)

Thanks, Beth. That one was kind of wrenching to write. All that crazy stuff really happened, and I'll never forget it.
