I haven't seen much in the way of interesting obits lately, mostly along the lines of "he was such a good church member and you can tell because of all the church jobs he had and how many missions he and his wife served" etc.

But there's one today that isn't church related. This man was related to a guy I knew in high school, maybe an uncle? Here's the whole obituary:

The seventh child of XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. He was a big tease, a brilliant, funny man; graduate of Jordan High School. Served in USAF 1950-54. Survived by five children, Cathy, Sue, Shirla, Bonnie, Boyd, and two sisters, Donna and Erma. Preceded by wife, HJ, parents, four brothers, one sister, and dog King. He had disowned some of us, but we never quit loving him.

Very interesting.

Wonder how he's doing with JS and BY out on Kolob?

Well, that was kind and generous of the disowned kids.

Hopefully the deceased remembered his secret handshakes.
