I wonder how the TV courtroom Miltary drama "JAG" would've handed this?? It was never done in the series.

This would have been a gift from the gods...not only are there many new plotlines which are instantly obvious, they could also (suitably "reinvented") "remake" episodes, using a great many of their already-existing film inventory, only this time with the complication of transgender character(s). (These "remakes" wouldn't be obvious to the general viewing public, but those who create these kinds of TV dramas would get it immediately.)

You (the Exec Producer, etc.) bring your writing and above-the-line production crew together around a big conference table...everyone starts brainstorming story ideas...write down all of 'em on a whiteboard...

...and then begin culling the multitude down to the best of the lot.

I'm smiling as I am keyboarding this...

This would probably be one of the best [TV] show conferences ever!!!

It's too bad "JAG" got cancelled in 2005...this would've been ratings gold!
