BTW, I know that French press coffee has been recommended on this board for years. I had some after dinner French press coffee at a restaurant about a week ago and it was *divine*. I may have to look into getting one.
My son keeps an aero-press coffee maker he had me buy for him one Christmas. It's lightweight and portable enough when he moved overseas it went with him. He loves his coffee made that way.
Worked 3-4 12 hour days in a cleanroom, then on the last morning, we'd all head to the bar out in eastern Colorado Springs that opens up at 7 AM and we'd have a party. :)
I'm drinking an instant coffee sample that I got with my rented textbooks. For any students, if you rent through Chegg, you usually get some free samples and this time I received a free workbook for my stats class!
What I drink every morning (it is one of the foundational parts of my breakfast):
1) One cup of organic milk (out of the bottle; so it starts out cold from the refrigerator and then transitions to room temp) 2) One heaping teaspoon of organic instant coffee 3) A few drops of liquid stevia for sweetening
Let it sit, with a few stirs as needed, until the coffee completely dissolves into the milk.
I bought a coffee bean grinder, nothing fancy, just a small grinder that will grind enough for one 12 cup drip maker batch. I use generic beans from the store and can tell the difference between fresh ground and store bought pre-ground.
But the topper for me this morning is that it is Sunday morning and in about 25 minutes the faithful morgbots in my neighborhood will start to drive away in their cars to go to church. I will be sitting on my front porch in a sleeveless shirt, shorts, and holding up my cup to wave to them as they parade by. One of these dutiful morgbots is the financial clerk. He "haaates my guuuts". Anyone familiar with the comedian Ron White will understand this.
