Pulled up some tunes to work to early this morning. Google Play Music suggested "Pieces of Eight" album by Styx.

A song came on that was so influential to me when I was trying to figure out if I should leave the cult, and what that would mean to me. Tommy and Dennis and JY, those guys sure knew how to write songs. Still as applicable today as it was to this teenager trying to figure out what to do, so I thought I'd share:

MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIME!!! I think Pieces of Eight was one of their finest albums. This song always made me feel good, and is especially fitting for me now with regard to TSCC. Thanks, ificouldhietokolob! Great memories in that music for me.

Great memories for me, too.
I remember sitting on top of a hill in my small town, watching the sun rise, sitting on the hood of my '67 Mustang, with this song blaring from the 8-track, and deciding...yeah, I AM OK without fitting into their mold.

Then, of course, it's followed by the absolutely beautiful "Sing for the Day" on the album. Powerful stuff. :)
