YAY! I have lost a little weight!

I have quite a lot of very nice, lightly worn, and even brand new clothing items that are suitable for business attire. I have heard of donation centers that specifically need clothing that is suitable for business interviews and office attire, however, I must be googling the wrong key words and can't remember the names of these donation centers.

A little help please! :)

Depends on where you are.

I saw an add recently for men's wearhouse where they gave discounts on future purchases if you donated used suits.

You might look for a veteran's out reach group that helps vets get jobs.

Oh, yeah... sorry!

I'm in Vancouver, Washington. :)

Thank you, Heartless, that's an excellent idea for donating the men's suits. My husband would often volunteer for Wounded Warrior projects he would probably appreciate that.

There's an organization called "Dress for Success". They have a location in Vancouver.

Also consider contacting your local women's shelter with your donations.

I work as a domestic violence victim advocate. Victims frequently leave abusive situations with NOTHING, including appropriate clothes to wear to court. Donations like yours make a huge difference.

Yes! I was going to suggest this. Sometimes people fleeing abusive situations need professional attire to get back into the workforce, too.

Thank you westernwillows and imaworkinonit, that's a very good suggestion! I will call and see if they take direct donations like this. :)

I would talk to local Veteran's organizations, lots of male and female soldiers reentering civilian life have Nothing for job interviews. When I came home from Iraq I had a very limited civilian wardrobe, none of which
was suitable for employment.
