Yeah, he deleted it. It was really interesting, he claims the new house he wants, is 10% over his budget. So I replied, suggesting he NOT donate the tithe to the Church on his income, and instead make a space in the home for needy, homeless teenagers, as space allows. And that he would be serving God that way. And I pointed out how the Church, since April of 1959, has kept secret on financial revenues and expenditures....
The question posed is "If a muslim barber refuses, on religious grounds, to cut the hair of a lesbian woman.. Whose side does the liberal take?"
Using the facts as given then clearly the woman. The barber is discriminating on the grounds of sexual orientation. He may think she is going to hell and may (for argument's sake) be correct. However, she is here on earth needing a haircut.
If she had asked him to, for example, shave "Lesbians rule ok" into her hair then the barber is clearly in the right.
If she was calling the barber a bigot for being muslim then the barber is in the right.
Clicked on the link and don't know what your reference is, but have one question, who the hell is Evan McMullin? Those look like recent posts, but I've never heard the name.
